Eight safari tents and two wooden cabins on a 4-hectare meadow at the edge of the village. Real beds, cotton bed linen and hot showers, and in the evening you sit by the fire, under the open sky.
About us
The meadow was our grandparents’ hayfield. We kept it as it was, with the old walnut trees and the stream at the far end, and set the tents on wooden platforms, at least 25 metres apart.
There are two of us and we live in the house by the entrance. We welcome you on arrival, show you the trails and lend you whatever you forgot at home.
Where you sleep
Prices are per night for the whole tent or cabin, with breakfast included. The minimum stay is two nights.

Heavy cotton canvas, a wooden floor and a small deck at the front. It has lights, sockets and a little stove for the cool nights at the start and end of the season.

An A-frame cabin with a private bathroom, kitchenette and a deck facing the mountains. Suited to families with small children or anyone who wants the bathroom next to the bed.

Facilities
The bathrooms and the summer kitchen are shared, clean and close to the tents. We clean them twice a day.
Four showers and four toilets, with hot water from solar panels.
Gas cooker, fridges, cookware and a long table for everyone.
Lights and sockets for phones; there is a hairdryer in the bathrooms.
Phone signal is good in the tents, but internet is only at reception.
Free, at the entrance; the tents are a 2-minute walk away.

Activities
The Hateg Country has quiet roads, stone churches and old villages. We give you maps and, on request, come along.

Along the roads between villages, with a map we drew ourselves. We also have children’s bikes.

The fire pit in the middle of the meadow is lit at sunset. Bring stories; we bring the tea.
What to bring
Evenings get cold quickly, even in August. We have everything else.
