Family villa by the sea
A villa with nine rooms, a garden and a terrace, where we, your hosts, welcome you ourselves. The beach is a five-minute walk away, and the marina a quarter of an hour.
Your hosts
We built Villa Olmara in 2009, on the site of the house where Florin spent his childhood summers. Since then, we have looked after it ourselves: Doina takes care of the rooms and breakfast, Florin of the garden, the barbecue and every repair.
We wait for you at the gate when you arrive, show you around and tell you where to find the best fish in the harbour. We are glad when guests come back year after year, and many of them have become friends.

Rates are per night, for the whole room. Breakfast is optional and paid separately.

Children up to 5 stay free and a cot is provided at no cost. To confirm a booking we ask for a 30% deposit by bank transfer; the rest is paid on arrival.
Terrace, garden and yard
Mornings on the terrace, afternoons in the shade of the garden, evenings at the gazebo. It is all in the villa’s yard, a few steps from your room.
Shaded tables under large umbrellas, where you can have your coffee or read in peace.
Made by Doina, with farm eggs, cheeses, fruit and home-made sweet bread. It costs 35 lei per person, and children up to 5 eat free.
The gazebo has a table for ten, and the barbecue and charcoal are ready for you. Just let us know in advance so that families do not overlap.
Fully equipped: cooker, oven, large fridge, dishes and utensils. It is open to guests all day.
A slide, swings and a sandpit on the lawn, in the shaded corner of the garden. Parents can sit on the bench next to it.
Six spaces in the enclosed yard, free for guests. The gate is locked at night.
The area
The villa is on a quiet street, yet close to everything that matters on a seaside holiday.
5-minute walk
Fine sand and shallow water near the shore, good for children. We lend you a beach umbrella and chairs.

Fishing boats, boat trips and a few restaurants serving fresh fish.

It looks best from the pier at the end of the beach. We will show you the way from the gate.
Frequently asked questions
Check-in is between 14:00 and 20:00, and check-out is by 11:00. If you arrive later, message us on WhatsApp and we will wait for you. You can leave your luggage with us before or after these times.
Yes, we accept small dogs and cats if you tell us when booking. The cost is 30 lei per night. Please do not leave your pet alone in the room.
In the villa’s yard, where we have six free spaces for guests. You do not need to reserve a space; if you come with two cars, let us know in advance.
Breakfast is optional and costs 35 lei per person. We serve it on the terrace between 08:00 and 10:00. Just tell us the evening before if you would like it.
Message us on WhatsApp or call us; we confirm the room and ask for a 30% deposit by bank transfer. You pay the rest on arrival, in cash or by card.
If you cancel at least 14 days before arrival, we refund the deposit in full. For later cancellations, the deposit can be used for another stay in the same year.
